Duque de Veragua Solera Gran Reserva is a traditional Brandy de Jerez made from selected holandas and aged for a minimum of 30 years in American oak casks previously seasoned with Oloroso. Intense and elegant, it combines noble wood and old-Sherry aromas with a warm, velvety and persistent palate.

Le Procédé

Sun-dried grapes. Fortified. Aged for over 30 years.

Duque de Veragua begins with a selection of the finest holandas de alquitarra, blended to reach 38% alcohol. The brandy is then aged in American oak casks previously seasoned with Oloroso from Jerez, using the traditional solera and criaderas system. The first criadera uses 600-litre butts for slower ageing before the brandy moves to 250-litre solera casks, where it completes an average ageing period of around 30 years.
